I am restoring a 1943 Ford mlitary truck. I understand that the engine color was the same as a 1943 or 1944 Ford 2N tractor. Can someone tell me what color that was and where to find a paint color chip?

You can also go to a CNH (Case New Holland) dealer and look at their paint. They have it in rattle cans, quarts or gallons. You can buy a rattle can, prime and paint some metal an then have your local auto paint store mix to match.

The below PPG number are from the other N tractor forum. PPG 35537 Medium Pebble Grey. It is a urathane paint. Hardner MH167, Reducer MR186. It's as close to the original color. You can get it the Omni and Shopline line of PPG painys too. They are less expensive.
