McCormick Deering Paint and Primer

For the tractor in question:

A bit of an open ended question as the paint isn't selected yet: I won't likely do the paint job [there's a paint shop not too far up the road], as I don't know if it's possible to get my garage clean enough to do it right, and the air compressor that would run my sandblaster, or HVLP guns, I built in place at the FIL's and still on the someday list to build one down here.

The likely three candidates I can think of are:
McCormick Deering Gray (Fordson House, not sure of mfg.)
McCormick-Deering.com 's formula for Centari or Imron

??? Others?

Now where it gets interesting right now, I'd like to prime parts as they come in; with guns being a pain to clean just for 2 minutes of use: is there a good choice of primer for any of the above that I can get in a "spray bomb."

Am I completely nuts, thinking spray can?

My guess is the tractor will see a few short durations of hard use [threshing bees and plowing contests] yearly, semi-frequent "lets go for a Sunday drive" and then not ran for several months while it's often below 0F.

Opinions on the top coat too?
