long 460 starter

I have to remove the starter to have fixed or replaced. Is the power steering pump the only thing to remove and what is the best way to do that. drain tank and unbolt everything. Is the 4 small bolts towards to front of the pump what holds it on.

Might get by with just pulling the lift pump

Yes pull the lift pump but be sure to change the o-ring on the hydraulic line when replacing

I finally got to take the starter off. The lift pump was not an issue didnot have to remove it, had to take power steering pump lines off and removed the pump, starter came right out after that
