Part BF Avery V

Traded an old broke down truck for this many years ago. Part BF Avery V, part Hillman Avenger engine, and kitchen sink for a gas tank. The engine locked up 10 years ago. I drug it out of the weeds a few weeks ago. Trying to decide what to do with it. I have a few engine laying around. Ford 2.8l v6, Chevy 2.8l v6, '39 Chevy 216, Chevy 283. Even have a couple of diesel single and twin cylinder engines. I think they originally had a Hercules engine, not sure what type. Lots of missing pieces and I may not live long enough to restore it-haha.

A monster it is. I did pull a lot of smaller trees and stumps with it when I first bought my property. One day it was sitting there at idle and made a sharp clank and locked up solid. I had already picked up a Jubilee by then and never bothered to mess with it. Now being retired, I kinda want to put it on my list of things to do.

I took one, shortened the frame rails about 2 feet between the engine and rear axle, eliminating the driveshaft, and then put a BXB 2 cylinder in it. It was fun,
but shifting all the weight to the rear made it too light in the front to the point that it needed wheelie bars- and that was before I added the forklift mast!

We had aWindam forklift similar to that. Here is a picture of one like we had at a sawmill I worked at in the '70s.
