Earthmaster CN

Hello. All the Earthmasters I have dealt with (4) did not have a bell housing. The engine bolted to the back mounting plate and the starter mounted on the reverse side with an adapter. The starter and adapter will be hard to find unless you can find a donor tractor.

The manifold you may be able to buy from Monte's in Chicago. Gerry Moons is the guy with all the know how. They have many NOS Continental engine parts. Your engine originally had a tag right behind the generator that was riveted to the block with engine model number, serial number and the engine type number.
The correct engine is an N-62 and it should be a type 15 for the correct starter mounting arrangement.

The carb is the same as an A-C model "G" as I have one of them on my Earthmaster now. I bought it rebuilt a number of years ago It is an updraft Zenith and there were some Marvel Scheblers used on a few tractors.

Go online and find a site called: Earthmastertractors.com owned by Paul Dunn in California and he may be able to help some. The other site, the Earthmastertractorshed is in transition right now and may not be accessible. That one is owned by Greg Turberville of Tn.

Have starter housing. Book shows a clutch cover which is missing. Not many Earthmasters here in W Canada. Thanks and will pass info on. I collect mainly MM's. Had a Long A.

Looked again and model C. Have toolbox and starter housing. Backing plate to mount starter must be option? Is clutch cover basically just a tin cover? Would be nice to have pic's of arrangement. Any other starter than be configured?
