I know this is a long shot, but here goes. Is anyone out at all familiar with the power steering unit on this model? I was recently roped into this project and am not sure where to start. Story is the thing steers(somewhat) from center to left and back to center. No power assist from center to right and back. Tractor was purchased with this(and other surprises) and has been sitting for a while. We got the thing running today, but due to low hydraulic fluid level and other issues, weren't able to troubleshoot much on the steering. We have an owners manual and a reprint of a service manual, but neither give much info on the steering valve. Just some diagrams and sort of a parts layout, with no text at all. We decided to concentrate on the the steering first, hoping to find out a little more about it and maybe how it works before tearing into it.
