Long 510 Value

Hi all, I have a Long 510 3 cylinder diesel tractor. I am looking to sell it soon and don't know what kind of money I can expect to get out of it. It is in great running condition and the tires are 60% tread or more. Doesn't smoke or use oil. ROPS, live pto, but no remotes. Has weights on the front. Any idea on what this tractor is worth? I'm in middle tennessee.

Thanks in advance!

I had a 510 with a loader (no canopy) that I got $4,200 for back in '08. So I'd say anywhere from $3,500 to $4,500 would be fair. These are great tractors. Very stout. I needed something with FWD though.

Good Luck

Thanks, I was hoping to get somewhere close to $3500 for it. I like the way it runs and works... It seems very similar to a Ford in the controls and transmission and such. Is that coincidence or do you know anything about that?
Thanks again,
Morgan

I was told that the design is like a Ford due to they were licensed to the Romanian tractor manufacturer that made these (the name escapes me, I think it is UTG or something)by Fiat, which bought the Ford tractor division in the late 80s or early 90s. When I said that on this board, I was quickly badmouthed for spreading bad info. A Ford tractor dealer(Grunders) told me this, so I don"t know. To me, they are a carbon copy of a 4600 series with a few minor differences. The engine is pure Fiat, again, licensed to UTG. Very good tractors.)
