Trying to adjust the wear in the steering gearbox. Manual says the gear and shaft is on an eccentric bearing.How do you adjust the eccentric bearing.
 
well if its like i think it is, it should have a set screw on the top for a screw driver and a lock not. to tighten the sector shaft u
screw in the screw a small amount while feeling the freeplay with the steering wheel, while its in the centre of travel. do not get it too
tight. or post a picture of your dilema and its easy .

ere is a picture of the steering gearbox.I am guessing that the top cover will have to be rotated to adjust the eccentric bearing,

if it like a row crop you would take the cover off and steering gear will have the eccentric in the center of the gear, this is turned to bring
the steering gear closer or further away from the worm gear. can be a bit counter intuitive at first. also be sure to put the locking tab
back in place or it will move on its own and make it impossible to steer.

ot it figured out.Eccentricis built into the cover.Took the bolts out and turned the cover.Worked great.
