Front tires 1550 gas

If I wanted to put a wider tire and rim on my 1550 would I have to switch my hubs I notice most of the wider tire and rims setups I have seen have a smaller bolt pattern on the hub? now that i got the steering straightened out fixed the pitman arm also the manual steering box is it filled with grease?

whats on it now? 750's and yes there is steering box grease for them which is nice and thin, not regular grease.

So since you have an odd duck with manual steering, do you have the big hubs, about a foot across, vs ones with 6
bolt implement wheel pattern?

You've got a 1550 that's equipped like none I've ever seen. Those are the same hubs as most 770s and 880s. To put
wider rims on it, you'll need the smaller six bolt implement pattern hubs.

And we are the second owner of this tractor it was purchased new from are local Oliver dealership in 1967 by a local dairy farmer I worked for said he then purchased a 1650 diesel in 1969 because it was better on fuel then the gas he said he used it for lite duty after he got the 1650 when I worked there we only used it a few times I am going to ask him more about it when I see for the final hay cut here in a week are so

Did the dealer or someone put a wide front on it? If it were mine I'd get a build card on it.
