I know this is an old post but im looking at putting a Cummins 5.9 in a M670 super and cant find much info.I was wondering if you had completed the M5 cummins swap? and had a few questions. Thanks

A 585 engine would not have been original to a M5 tractor. A tractor that would have used a 585 such as a 2655 Oliver would have been a candidate for a 855 Cummins or a more modern 8.3L.

On another note- there's a broken down 2655 around here that has a 6-71 Jimmy transplant.
