Oliver 77 standard

I have a 1948 Oliver 77 standard. Is there a way to repair the old u- joints on the steering shaft. It is the style that does not have the knock out bearings.Do I just have to replace with a complete new u-joint?

Could you post a picture of it? I helped my grandfather
replace joints in a 660 several years ago. Not sure where
he got them. I think Korves Oliver sells replacement u-
joints.

Good luck finding those old style ones. Those are the
same ones that our Oliver 60 has. Grandpa had always
told me that you couldnt get them anymore.

Might try Larry Svehlak in TX. He has a lot of NOS
Oliver/white parts.

Also might try Maibachs in OH. Try to get Emily in parts.
She has helped us find lots of hard to find parts.

Another option might be to try and convert it to the
replaceable style u-joints. You will have to change the
whole steering shaft though probably? Not sure.
