white 251 disk

i recently purchased a white disk model 251 from a neighbor. it was bought new at tinker implemenets in fairview indiana around 1974. it has had an easy life sitting in a barn having only about 100 acres of service. it measures 9'6 on the back gangs. i haven't seen any of this model on tractorhouse didn't know white made this small a disk? anyone have any experience with this particular model? thanks in advance

It should do a good job in the field and if no rocks it should get over many acres without issue. If you have rocks to the point where the disk talks to you frequently then keep some gang bearings on hand.

I had a 251 oliver disc,9' 3 I bought new about 1971 or thereabout. I pulled it with a 1365 with a drag behind it. It was a very good cutting unit and I only sold it to get a 252 that would allow dual wheels on each side.
