1800 oil pressure gauge

I want to install a regular oil pressure gauge to replace the light. Can someone tell me where the tap is to connect a pipe to get oil pressure?

Look on the right side around oil filter side of block for some 1/8 inch pipe plugs. Tie in there.

Remove idiot light switch from the engine, insert a suitable Tee- piece and plumb both to the Tee? Even change the idiot light (or add) for a very loud audible warning?

I found the oil pressure sensor om my 1800 . It is on the right hand side of the block close to the U joint for my steering wheel shaft. There is no wire connected to it. Where it is located right by the steering shaft and the tractor frame , it looks impossible to install a normal oil tube for a regular gauge. My question is.... how does that sensor work?

Does it put out a 0 to 20 milliamp signal? Can I buy a gauge that will take that signal from the sensor and convert it to display pounds of pressure ? If no, can I replace that sensor with one that will send out a signal that can be converted to pressure?

It is a simple pressure switch. It simply switches 12V to illuminate the idiot-light.
