Oliver 80 Standard Starter Cross References

Can anyone help me find a starter to fit a 1942 Oliver 80 Standard? An old starter that was in the parts tractor was a delco remy 1107423, unfortunatley the nose cone broke.

1107423 is obsolete and I am having an extremely hard time finding anything that would fit. I believe it is a 10 tooth, has no bolting flange, and I am uncertain if it turns CW or CCW.

Is there any other tractor makes and models that shared the same starter? Is there a new starter number that people use? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!!

It s a long time ago, but IIRC I used an early Land Rover (or maybe Jaguar) starter, after turning off the mounting flange. I know it was a very simple and straightforward solution to the problem. I can’t remember whether I had to change the bendix, but that was obviously not an insurmountable problem, if I did.
