zenith carb 12262

Hi I found this kit on this site. Item #: 100740.
I would also need the throttle shaft and the throttle disc to fit in a zenith carb # 12262.

My plan was to buy all at once but I searched pretty much all what google could offer and still can't find a throttle shaft. Do anyone know if buying another type kit the throttle shaft would be same as the one I need pls? Ty.

Can't help you directly, but I'd give these guys a ring. Their a touch more expensive than
elsewhere, but they sure know their carburetors. I've bought a few things from them over the
years - some not listed on their website.

You also might try, 'Then and Now Automotive', located in Weymouth. I don't know if they get
into carburetors, but they're extremely helpful, and know everything there is to know about
old fuel pumps (and have parts for every pump you could imagine in-stock). If they don't sell
the shaft directly, they could probably direct you to somewhere that does.

Thank you DanielW. I tried them all and they all have many but this one. I finally used the one on my bench under a bolt, a hacksaw, a file, a drill and a tap. One hour later it was done and work fine. I installed the carb as shown in the book like the lever for speed wide open, the throttle on carb wide open and the arm off the governor pulled toward the carb fitting freely and with engine at rest it works fine. The carb open and close as it should with the lever on the wheel. When I start the engine tho even if I open the speed with the lever at the wheel the governor kinda stop it from rising by keeping the carburetor throttle shaft at low rpm.
