Oliver 770 power shift delete

I am looking for parts to delete the power shift on my Oliver 770? Because it seems to slip out of gear when not under load.

What do you by, it slips out of gear? If the transmission is slipping out of gear, that has nothing to do with the power booster. If you mean it will coast down hill when the lever is pulled back, that's normal. They were like that from the factory.

How many salvage yards have you checked? You'll need the bell housing and drive shaft. Maybe a few other minor
things, but if you tell a used parts guy what you're looking to do, he should be able to make sure you have
everything. You don't say where you are, but Smitty's in Dalton Ohio, Maibach in Creston Ohio, Owosso Tractor parts
in Owosso Michigan, the owner of this site, All States Ag Parts.... I'd be checking with them.

About 30 years ago I removed the power shift from my 770 by simply welding a pipe sleeve between the two clutch disc hubs and added a grease zerk . Has run many thousand hours since.

Dad had a 880 with one of those power
boosters. We replaced it with 2 sprockets
where the dry clutch was. I think they
were from a 1650. Put the chain on to
couple them together. Had to purchase the
bearing retainer and seal for the input
shaft into transmission and plug a couple
of drain back holes in transmission case.
Bell housing didn't need changed. When you
get in there and count splines you can
figure out which sprocket is needed.
Didn't have to get into transmission did
have to move engine to get pieces in place
And of course pull pto drive shaft back.
Just another option for you.
