72 in Mi today so I got some dirt turned over. A few years ago one of the hay fields got the corner flood out and never came back. So i plowed that part up and will replant it. The renter didn't want to drag his equipment over so I did it. I enjoyed smelling the fresh soil.

Good day to fix fence. The neighbor's dog paid us a visit after dark last night and started chasing cows. He put
them through a gate, broke the gate post, a brace post and a steel post. At least he came this afternoon and dug
the new post holes and helped me get it fixed. The cows were already in the wrong pasture though and fixing the
fence didn't bring them back where they belong.

I don't know whether to try to disc oat ground tomorrow or Thursday, or let it go until next week. Sykora has a
sale Friday that I want to go to.

Oliver plow. It handle it good, but was only plowing at 6 inches.

You seen my ground Randy, Rolling. Dries kind of quick. First I was just going to hand rototill it, made two rounds around took 45 minutes. so I plowed it. The bad was it took a couple of hours to get the plow to work right. RFD said cooler than normal next week.
I see his ad up there.

Is that plow the 4340 3 furrow? My 540 likes my MF43 plow in heavy soil.
Happy Birthday, on the 27th I'll be 77 this year.

PS I'd also like a copy of that 540 hyd sheet.

yes, the plow has the big tail wheel on it.

love to see old iron put to a use.

Down here in Armada, the ground has re-emerged from the lake bottom but still too wet to work. Strolling across the lawn will get you wet feet.
I'm sure the 3 spring days the clay will be perfect to work will be during next week. How do I know? I will be out of town.
