Safety switch

Is it possible to install a safety switch on an Oliver 550 so that the tractor will only start when in neutral? How would it handle both neutrals, high range and low range?

Anything's possible I guess. On the 4 digit tractors, the neutral switch is internal and they'll only start when
the shift is centered in either neutral. I believe there's a kind of a cradle in there that swings when you move
the shift side to side. Maybe of you had something that was the reverse of that. Something that stood up with a
slot in it and when it was centered, would push a pin to complete the circuit?

I believe there is/was such a switch that fit up under the left
side of the dash. I used to hold the button, though if
installed properly the press of the clutch pedal would
complete the circuit and allow you to fire it up. Not specific
to being in neutral.

I removed mine as it was finicky
