Oliver, super 55 three point hitch question

Looking at an Oliver, super 55 gas not very familiar with them three point inch handle works, but it will only lift the implement at the last maybe 2 inches from the top and let it down the same way really not much control of the implement, all my other tractors you can start at the bottom and lift it up a little at a time is there an adjustment or something wrong with this? Thanks,

Have you checked the hydraulic fluid level ? Maybe its low. Under the seat on the right you can check level.

The selector lever may be in draft setting. the lever is on the right side behind the rocker shaft. up is draft down is position control.

No they don't start at the bottom. Look at he serial number which is by the clutch petal.
