I need some info on a co-op 30, that's coming up on a sale, its got a 8 speed trans,Live pto, but how short do they turn, would it make a good tractor for the woods mower, thats on a B Farmall now,What do u think, i drove my uncles 30 almost fifty years ago!!! Cant remember much about it!

Denny,Thanks, i think we talked before, thanks, The Edgeley Elevator Burned down Fri nite, the steels bins and concrete are ok, but the main wooden structure is gone, the outdoor scale looks ok,

Well maybe on the more power,my engine has been decked, it's got 170 lbs of compression, need live power bad !!

The youngsters of today have no idea what an advancement and revelation live power was back then. I have baled hay with a pto baler with a tractor without live power. It was NOT an enjoyable experience. Just about as enjoyable as using a baler with a Wisconsin engine whose magneto wasn't quite right. LOL!

Those were the days!

I hauled some grain to that elevatoe but usually Kulm, Jud or Fredonia. We did buy our stoker coal there in Edgeley.

Dad had a New Holland 77 with one on it for one season until it caught fire. If he had to start it warm, he had to take the belts off, turn the tractor around and belt up to the pulley on the tractor to start it, then slip the belts back on with it running.
