White/Oliver

Hello and good morning.

I have an older White 2-44LL -550-which all of a sudden started slowing down in gear.

Double checked the oil/transmission and noticed it was low.

I filled it back up and noticed I had to drive it back and forth in each gear in which it s a (4) speed manual (forward/reverse).
SO it has to separate shifters-one for speed(4) speeds and (1) for Forward/Reverse.

It slowly started to pick up speed in all gears so I parked it.

I went to use it the other day and it was slow to move in first gear and would not work in any other gear.

I was able to back up in first gear but then it just stop and won t move anymore.

When I put it in gear how ever the tires jerk like they want to move but do not.

Please any suggestions are great let appreciated.
Thank you.

How much oil did you have to add to the transmission?
Sounds like you used up a bearing.

The way that you've described the shifts, it sounds to me like you have a reverse-o-torque and that's where the problem is. Sorry,
I don't know a thing about them.
