I have an 1850 diesel.

1. What do you recommend doing to free up up the telescope steering wheel? Tilts fine. Loosen the center and it is froze.

2. I have no lights, or fuel gauge or heat gauge. Previous owner had everything wo9rking. I checked fuses - look ok.

Does the knob turn in the center of the steering wheel? It screws in to a wedge shaped piece at the bottom of the shaft. It's cut at an angle like the gooseneck on bicycle handlebars. I'd take the knob off by removing the little nut that holds it and get some PB Blaster or something down in there. Put the knob back on and get it to turn, then tap on it to try to get that wedge loose.

With the lights, check the switch where the light feeds from woth a probe or multi meter. One of my switches is acting up too. Also check the ground.
