Oliver 1355 Steering problems

I have a Oliver 1355 4X4, recently it became almost impossible to turn to the left. It turns to the right without issues. There was an original thread in 2009,
but is too old to reply to the original author. I have read the service manual, but to me it doesn't seem real clear where the issue may be. Is it in the cylinder
itself or in the pump / pressure relief block where the check valve assembly is located? It appears to be pretty straight forward as to how it is supposed to
work, but is not working that easy.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try this post between me and Mitch Poindexter. It's a 1365, but I assume it's the same or very similar. There are pictures. Yours isn't locking up in the gear box, it's just the power steering cylinder, right?

It is not in the gearbox itself, just the power steering aspect. I have read in the service manual something about a check valve. This cylinder is in parallel with the drag link on the left hand side coming from the steering box.

OK, the 1365 two wheel drive is like that, but the 4x4 is under the radiator. Let's see if Traditional Farmer knows.
