3208 cat retorque

Should the headbolts be retorqued when its hot on a 3208 cat? It does require removing rocker arm. It's on a white tractor so I posted it here since Oliver is closest to white.

What did you torque them to
The early small V8 Cats torqued at 105 lbs, I had issues with coolant leakage on one I rebuild. Later engines torqued at 115 lbs so I retorqued that engine to 115 and it stopped leaking
I rarely ever retorque unless there's an issue and rarely have a head gasket issue.

I believe this has the later style head
bolts at 115, so your saying you did do a
hot retorque?

I've never done anything on a 3208 but I had a friend with a boat and the only thing I remember is it had a multiple step torque sequence. Sorry I can't help more. I probably have it in a shop manual at home but I'm not close to that right now.

I had torqued them to 105 and had to tighten them to 115 to get them to seal
Had I torqued them to 115 at the beginning I wouldnt have had to retighten them
My thought is the factory didnt retorque so I shouldnt have to either
