No trip for us to the national Oliver show in north Iowa.
The rush is on to get soybeans drilled in what moisture we have left after getting rid of the weeds. Few breakdowns and it's down to the 1755 and ole IH disk, we've had the luck just like Ross the Oliver guy. Spent an hour changing out a back gang bearing and then refilled with that economically great red fuel.
Hope all is well everywhere else, like Mr John T, have a great Father's day weekend, we'll be sweating it out!
GG

Funny you mentioned red fuel. I was just filling the 2-105 and noticed that he didn't put the dye in it last time. It'd be a good time to have a diesel pickup again I guess. LOL

Thanks all for the replies. Been out busy.
Yes, Perkins out of a 2-85, but.....
Was located with help in Nw Iowa, was in an 85 tub, but is a Massey combine motor.
Fuel tank hole is a little bit off, exhaust was on other side. Air cleaner was routed to work in original hole. Runs and handles like a dream.
105 on the drill. This one was Father in law first , has band duals.
Another newer 105 was on the white 264 disc, when he had left rear wing support break a weld. So third string 1755 with the older IH disc got duty. Friday night I get on it, four rounds later, back left end bearing decided, enough, so we replaced it. Finished discing and drilling Sat late morning.
Dry here,. Changed over for hay, got ready to mow,. He says hey look at that wheat, now it's going dry and ready to go.
All at once, it's nuts,. Like John T. Have a great week, stay safe and cool out there.

Maybe not in order.....
Bailey, 17 yrs, got fenders put on the 1800c/1755 310 diesel motor swap job, and used the 479 haybine

Hadley, 11-1/2 yrs, rode a bit and then mowed his first hay with the 770 on the 488 haybine.
Both guys doing great.
Then a pic of the yard, 1755 D on the 7230 discbine, and Hadley's setting on the 660 after moving sprayer.

Bailey ran an hour or so and found his oil pressure getting lower on that 310 rebuild, so he headed for the shed. We're leaning on Maibach to share us some guidance, now. GG
