My neighbor found and bought this Oliver spreader for me (he says every farm needs a good old spreader).
Anyway, this spring I used it for the first time and it worked pretty good. The only issue I had was that it tends to just spill out the back more so than spread it out. I noticed there is about a 5" gap between the floor and the lower pickup. In other words, it left more of a trial of manure rather than spread it out. The floor is in great shape but I am wondering if the wood on the back has worn over time?
I am unsure if this is adjustable as I can't find anything. I thought about welding extensions on the lower pickup so it comes closer to the floor, but I thought I would ask some Oliver guys first.
