Hydraulic valves or couplers?

Last few years been planting corn with a White 2-135 and John Deere 7000 6row planter. Finally got the hydraulics working well on my 2-105. Hooked the planter up and it lowers only if I feather the hydraulic lever. Would not lower on other set of valves. The hose chatter and lock up if I go too fast. Raise up again and start lowering. The valves are the same between 2-105 and 2-135. Is the problem likely in the valves, or couplers? Thank You, Steve.

Loosen the lock nut on the restrictor screw on the back bottom of the valve body and turn it in a couple of turns and try that. Do it with the engine off. You might have to turn it out a quarter turn before you can turn it in. That should take the bounce and chatter out. Two turns might not be enough. It'll be precision guesswork.

Will try that. May check what the adjustment is on the 2-135. I think the restrictors are turned all the way out on the 2-105. Thanks Steve.
