550 PTO Throw Out Bearing Wear

Hi Everyone,

I'm curious how much play (wear) is allowable in the brass PTO throw out bearing. I don't have a mental gauge about what is normal and tolerable. I'm not going to run the PTO hard on this tractor, but I also don't want to cheap out and split it again in the near future either.

I attached a short clip of the play in mine. Hopefully you can see it.

I would be more worried about play in the axial direction. I just installed a new one from this website and it is snug in both the axial and radial direction.

Take the 2 bolts out and look at the inside to see how much wear there is.
