3208 cat getting anti freeze in cylinder

White 4-180, had antifreeze coming out exhaust on left side and is in oil. I took the head off but can't see anything wrong with head gasket. I suppose it still could be head gasket? Wondering what the next step would be if anyone experienced same issue.

Dont they have injector sleeve's that will also fail sometimes and leak antifreeze into the cylinders and then oil?

They don't have injector sleeves for the injectors. You could have the head pressure checked at a machine shop if you don't see anything. Do you know which cylinder it is? Any pistons looked washed or different than the rest? I would have pulled they exhaust manifold off before removing the head to isolate the cylinder. Is this an original engine or a reman? Some of the remans had sleeves put in but really shouldn't be an issue being a parent bore block. I'm assuming what coolant is in the oil is residual, not really making the crankcase over full? Was the engine pushing coolant at all? A head gasket wouldn't allow coolant into the cylinder unless a fire ring was blown. I would think you are dealing with a cracked head or a pin hole in a cylinder. I would have probably dropped the oil pan first and pressurized the cooling system to see where the coolant was coming from before tearing the engine apart to narrow things down.

i had this happen on a white 4-210, adjoining cylinders. same thing, couldnt see anything with head gasket, replaced it. after that it smoked white a lot, finally found out 2 rods were bent when water was in the cylinders, put some used rods in, and away we went
