Oliver Manure Spreader?

Did Oliver ever make a PTO operated manure spreader? If so does anyone know what model they were and if there are any still around to be had?

Oliver made a few p.t.o. spreaders. I think the model 470 was the first and it was built in the late 50's early 60's. I think the other models were the 490 and 590. I don't think it will be easy finding one.

A 471 just sold on Auction Time today for $2500.00.
It was in excellent condition, and sold from Bingham's Farm Machinery in Indiana.

I have a small John Deere 40 that I am going to restore (needs new wood and while I am at it I will paint it) but I was just curious about the oliver made spreaders, they seem pretty rare and like they might be difficult to get parts for.

They made quite a few models of PTO spreaders from about
the 50s to the 70's. I have a 480 pto which is a 140 bushel
spreader from the 60's. There has been a tandem axle
Oliver spreader for sale on Craigslist in PA for 2800.

Hi, I have a Oliver 471 PTO spreader. Wondering if anyone knows the correct apron chain tension? I just replaced some broken links and want to adjust it correctly.

Thanks
