550 electrical ??

I'm trying to hook up the generator idiot light on a 1963 550 Oliver. I have the manual diagram, but I'm not sure if my old eyes are seeing things right. Beginning with the light, which is grounded to the instrument
cluster, the power supply wire appears to go to G on thge voltage regulator, then to the A terminal on the generator. I don't see a G on the regulator that's on the tractor. If G means ground, can I ground it
to a regulator mounting screw, or do I need a different regulator? Thanks!

Some regulators and generators were marked A for Armature, Some G for Generator. They were used interchangeably and connect to output of Generator

The charge light connection inside the cluster would not go to ground, it should go to switched ignition. Probably difficult to see it inside a sealed unit.
