So over on tractor tales they had a link to the member map. I never realized how close we are to one another. By chance do you have/ did have an 88 diesel decorated in your front yard ? Just wondering ! Drive past it a little over a week ago admiring it !
 
Yes thats my place. We always decorate a tractor for xmas. Where abouts are you from? By any chance do you work for a school district as a mechanic?
 
No I work road construction as an operator but our shop is on townline down by the railroad tracks. I live in South Wales and our small farm is on Two Rod and Jamison. Place with 2 draft horses and black angus beef cows.
 
Wow I guess we not to far from each other. I know of the farm on 2rod. There a two four digit Olivers there I think. I actually have wanted to stop and I and inquire about them when I have seen them out. We go past there quite often, we have family and friends Wyoming County way. My name is Aaron by the way, I assume you work for catco then. I work for Orchard Park schools as a mechanic and used to work at Iroquois. I asked if you did because I think the mechanic at Holland has Olivers also.
 
Yes that is our place. 1650 gas and 1750 diesel. On occasion my brothers 1755 is there . That one has a cab. My name is Jim nice to meet you. A buddys dad has the farm on Rt 16 and Darien rd in Holland. Bunch of Olivers there too. Actually my buddy just finished putting a 5.9 Cummins in his 1800A. Yes I do work there.
 
I wanted to add if you want to stop over when it gets warmer your more than welcome ! As long as my red dodge is there so am I. So what else is in your stable ? My brother and I also have an 88 we used to pull. Have had it out in a bunch of years ! Both got busy with houses and families. I think this was from 2007 at Strykersville when they still had a pull.

I think I know of your buddy on rt16. My brother in law thinks he worked with his Dad at pine hill concrete years ago. Me and my brother in law have the tractors and equipment together. We restore some, fix and use some of them. My wife's uncle lives on Curries Rd in Java near rt78. He has the families original 1800 that they grew up on. There is 14 or so here right now. Super44, super 55 diesel, super 88, 880, 1365, 1600, 2 1800's, 1550, 1650, 1750, 1850, 1950T, 1955mfwd. I think thats all of them. Plus a bunch of plows discs and other stuff. All the tractors we have are Diesel's except the super 44. Your more than welcome to stop over sometime to. Always like to talk tractors.
 
Yes it kind of got out of hand!! Some are complete restoration's to others that do not run or need a complete going over.
