1850 steering

Hi guys.
You might remember that I replaced a shifter fork on my 1850 earlier. Ever since it steers hard. I havent used it much because its winter. I havent used the remotes yet but the 3 point works fine. Its not making any squealing noises like its starving for oil. What do you think is causing it? Dirt got in somewhere. I replaced the hydraulic filter and oil when I put it all back together. Its not the cold because my other 1850 steers fine once it warms up. I appreciate any advice.

Is there a chance that something got past the filter when you changed it and got in to the priority valve?

We have an 1850D that used to do that a couple times each summer. I got to be an expert at taking the priority valve off, tearing it apart, rinsing in a pan of gas, and putting it back. Often out in the field. Finally found a different style valve on a parts tractor. Has not done it since. They used two different valves.

Its certainly possible dirt got in. I blew the lines out that I had off before I put it together. Ive read to pull the plug and spring on the priority valve and clean them up. I havent looked yet but is it obvious which plug to take out? Is there a possibility that when I put the filter on that I didnt get it in right. Im going to look at it in the next week when I get it back in the shop.
