We lost a first class Oliver mechanic, friend, and all around nice guy who was always willing to help. He worked at the Farmers Store in Mineral Point, Wi. He was one of the two fireman killed on their way to an accident.

A friend of mine asked if I knew him. I did not do much business a Farmers Store. My friend also said he was a top flight Oliver mechanic.

I am from the Mineral Point area. Jim was an excellent mechanic, especially on the olivers. He will be dearly missed
