Oliver 70 Engine

I have a 1940 Oliver 70 with a bad head gasket. How do identify exactly what engine is in it? I need to know in order to make sure I get the
correct head gasket set. Also, does anyone know where I can get a head gasket set for an Oliver 70, once I know the exact engine I am dealing
with?
 
I can't help you with a complete gasket kit but I do have these NOS extended manifold gaskets the protect the valve cover from the muffler heat.

Continental 202 cu. inch engine. Agkits shows to have this head gasket on their web site, but a lot of smaller companies don't update their inventory very often. This site (yesterdays tractors) sells parts, but none shown for this tractor. Internal engine parts are getting scarce and pricey for this engine, but are available if you have the money.
 

Unless you can find a NOS one on eBay. You will have to buy the whole engine gasket kit. Over 200 dollars is hard to justify though. Steiner has them.
