Hydraulic hose needs changing

My 1955 has had a rash of hydraulic hose and fittings problems. I finally got them fixed and got my beardless wheat patches plowed and planted. I still had a hydraulic leak from the steering line under the cab and deck near the pressure valve below the hydraulic pump. After I finished, I discovered the 90 degree swivel piece was leaking, so I replaced it. Afterward I discovered that the hose assembly connecting the pump to the pressure valve had suddenly developed a leak. Have any of you out there ever changed this hose? How do I do it? I feel that the other 3 smaller hydraulic hoses need to be disconnected from the pressure valve in order to reach the hose to be replaced. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have every official Oliver book I could find for 1955's. There is nothing in print that I can find explaining how to do this job. Any help would be appreciated.
 
My first advice is to take a picture with your phone if you can. Olivers are known for hydraulic leaks and it does take time to get to all of them if they have not been addressed right away. I have a number of these older tractors and it is not uncommon to have one completely blow a hydraulic hose each year and maybe 3 or 4 have some hydraulic leak that needs attention. In some it as been as simple as tightening the hose clamps on the lines to the oil cooler or making sure the connection is tight.

I am not real sure of which line you are referring to but a picture would help. I have stopped a leak on the big line going into the block below the pump by adding additional washers (brass ones I had for brake lines) or by completely replacing the end on the line with a new one and new seal. If it is this one, the big nut serves as a compression nut around a rubber seal with two steel washers on it. I don't recall ever actually replacing the complete line. I noticed this because the nut and seal come separately with a new line.
 
I'd take Mike's advice. If you've moved a hose around and it has an o ring fitting, you might just need to tighten the nut on it. I thought for two years that I had a leak in the valve for the remotes on my 2-105. I was finally going to do something about it and I found out it was just leaking from an o ring elbow. I snugged up the nut and that was all there was to it.
