WTB 1900GM radiator

Had mine re cored. Fan flew apart and pretty much destroyed. If your tanks are good shouldn't be a problem for a rad shop to re core.

The rad. shop is looking into that, how much did that cost?
Mine will need a little metal work on one of the uprights but they have not removed the tanks yet for inspection, they are also looking for a new one, I told them that was not likely to succeed

(quoted from post at 08:24:44 07/25/21) I dont even want to guess at what it cost as that was many years ago.
I guess we will see unless I can find a new or good used one, they are telling me there is a factory in Dallas that will make a custom core to fit, I am assuming "custom" means big bucks!

I got a call from the radiator shop today and for a re-core it will be $735 and should be ready early next week.
I doubt the new core will last 60 years but then neither will I........

Well, $735.00 later I have learned a tough lesson on busting brush (actually I got away with it for decades)
