Noisy gears

I got the hubs off the 60 Oliver and new seals wheel seals that is what would anybody think if I put about six tubes of corn had grease in there to make the oil thicker than 140 weight to quiet the gears ?

A gallon of Lucas oil treatment has worked on the other green tractors.

It should be about 6 gallons of 90 wt. and I don't think adding anything is going to quiet the whine of straight cut gears.

Scootergmc, took a JD60 for a long drive and couldn't stand the whine in the first reduction gear area, so stopped at a store and poured the Lucas in, the next two hours were much more tolerable than the first
hour.
