CR / Oliver rake.... bar installation

I have an MM CR rake (Cockshutt) which I think is the same as the earlier Oliver rakes. What is the best way to reinstall one of
the bars on it. I got the end repaired but I cant line up the hole to install it (too long) Does a person have to loosen the rest
of the bars or just have the cast end caps in as far as they can go for installation?

I am not sure about Oliver but on other rakes I have worked on I had to loosen the bars on the Idler wheel end and also the idler wheel mount to the frame and move the wheel to get the bar bolt into place . good luck Bryan
