CR rake bearing removal

I have a CR MM rake that I need to remove one of the end caps from the steel disc to repair one of the steel tubes. I think the earlier Oliver rakes might be the same. Can a little heat be applied to the nut for removal without damaging anything in the bearing assembly?

Impact wrench, NO heat.

Do you happen to have an actual picture of the bearing assembly its self? I have a parts book but it is kind of crude pictures lol.

I take it that the stem is turning with the nut? Usually there is a hex socket in the end of the stem. Or you can just split the nut.

Luckily, I got them loose. I used a wrench and hit the end with a deadblow hammer. Came loose. I was afraid they might start turning and would end up splitting the nut to get it apart.
