Its going to cost so much to repair the hydro power on my 1650 diesel they said it would be better to replace it with a over/under as they are more available.

Just out of curiousity, will an over under go into a 1550 in place of an HP behind the 232?

Mike it has been discussed on here before. Unit from a 1650 1655 or White 2-70 will work. Thats a Hydra Power drive in Connecticut.

Justin Meyer in Minnesota may have one for sale or there is anther guy that salvages tractors and parts them out. Maibach tractor in ohio might also have one. I would not change it over to the 2speed. I think you will like the 3speed better. Would you try and rebuild it yourself? I am going to take one apart in the next few weeks.

Some purist I'm sure will disagree to no end with what I will tell you but most of us out here in the real world don't really care do we ? Some of them only bring their noses down out of the air long enough to look down them anyway. If you are like me you are only doing this old tractor stuff because you enjoy it. You ...
