Oliver 66 RC Battery Tray

Hello, I'm working on replacing the battery tray on our 66 with a Korves replacement. I got the old rusted out tray removed and the replacement one seems to be about a 1/4" narrower than the opening. Not sure if the console is stretched wider or if I'm just not looking at the tray right. The old one was completely rusted through so i don't have much of a pattern to follow. Thanks Adam

Go to Menards, Farm & Fleet or whatever your local farm store is. They have a rack with metal strips in it, buy a 1/4X one" width piece, cut to length and weld it onto one side. Problem solved. If you are really picky, buy two 1/8" strips and weld one on each side.
