Oliver 550 Fluids?

I just picked up the Oliver 550 I've been chatting about. I have no idea of what fluids are in the hydraulic system or the
transmission/differential. Previous owner just topped off the transmission with hydraulic fluid without checking the level and I think
overfilled it - Pours out the check plug. Engine is fine just old oil and I can handle that. The fluids look OK but should I drain or just
add and what should I add. Whats the deal with this Oliver additive 102 082-A. I like the idea of the 10w 30 oil plus something all the way
around but I need a game plan. I think drain and refill all but maybe it is too early in the rehab game.

I use the new 80w90 oil in the transmission and rear end, it seems about as thick as 30wt oil. Universal trans/hydraulic oil in the hydraulic. If the rear end is overfull, hydraulic pan might be leaking hydraulic fluid into the rear end. Keep an eye on the hydraulic oil, if it goes down quick, it is probably going into the rear end.

The additive is no longer available, I think it was some kind of anti-foamer. I do the same as Super 99. 80W-90 in the rear end - takes a 5 gallon pail - fill plug is between your legs below the dash. Universal trans/hyd for the hyd oil - something like 11 qts - a 2 1/2 gallon jug is close - fill plug back right behind seat with little dipstick on it. There is a steel pan that separates the hyd. oil from the transmission oil. If that develops holes hyd oil will leak down into the transmission. I've been using these fluids for 15 years (regular changes of course) in cold northern Minnesota weather with no problems. Good luck!
