Hydraulic fittings on Oliver 550

Im working on setting up a remote cylinder on my Oliver 550, but am unfamiliar with these hydraulic fittings. The fittings appear to be plugged from the inside (maybe?), but weep slightly when using the tractor.

I see remnants of part number lettering, including the quotation marks, but I havent found anything useful from a web search yet.

What kind of fitting mates up with these? Is it some kind of quick-coupler? (Or maybe a slow-coupler?)

Those are an old style not used much anymore, plus they leak like a sieve. Best all around cure is to replace them with new pioneer couplers and male ends. I think you will need couplers that will couple under pressure. If the 550's are like all of the other Olivers, the hydraulic hose has constant pressure, shutting the tractor off and moving the lever does not relieve the pressure on the coupler. That style was on the 880 that I bought with a loader on it and they leaked a steady stream when it was running. I have replaced them.
 
The first 77 that I bought, back in 69 had those on it. I tossed them and bought a breakaway clamp and some Pioneers for it. It was
some years later that I bought a Hydralectric cylinder that had the other ends that mate up to them on it. I guess I should have
saved all the parts for a conversation piece, or at least have taken some pictures of them. Hindsight's 20/20.
 
I know 2 things, I am older than you guys. They are Aeroquip couplers and the O-ring on the inside needs to be replaced. You don't look at semi dump trailers too often. Areoquip couplers are very popular for the hose on dump trailers only they are larger!

I did find a couple of fittings that would maybe mate up, but decided to convert to Pioneer fittings, so that I would not have unique hydraulics.

Super99, Ill save the fittings and see what it takes to get to the o-rings.

I am curious to how your aux. hoses are plumbed into your tractor hydraulics as I have notices some unique options. Got any more pics of your hyd connection or loader controls? Mine uses some type of Cesna
power-beyond block. The hydraulics are then fed up to my 3 spool loader control. The third handle runs the rear aux. hyd's. Your rear bracket looks a lot like mine. Mine has a Pioneer breakaway clamp and
fittings. In order to hook up the hoses I have to shut the tractor off and move the 3rd lever on the spool valve to release the pressure.

No loader, unfortunately - although I still had to make a significant repair to the front end last year.

As far as I know, I have an original One-remote factory option.

Ill grab a couple pictures after I get home tonight.
 
Im fairly certain this is a factory setup. It matches the images in the parts list.

This image shows an angled view from the right side of the tractor, toward the left rear wheel. There is a 45 deg. street ell (pointing down and back) between the valve block and each hose.

Thanks for the photo. Yes, that is a factory remote valve. They are hard to find. Enjoy your new Oliver!
 
Actually, I found this for Dad around 2001. He always fought with it - hard to start, and I dont know the last time the generator worked.

Mom gave it to me non-running in 2018. Not knowing any better, I charged the battery and tried to start it. I am VERY thankful that the Bosch injector pump was not stuck!

Runs better now, but still hard to start unless its plugged in for a few hours.
