White 1370 starting

Got the 1370 home and have to fix a couple things and check it over. i have not got the manual yet. can someone give me the run down for starting it in cold weather.

If the thermostart works, you turn the starter switch clockwise. It's spring loaded, but at a point, it'll hit more resistance just before it engages the starter. Hold it in that position where is hasn't quite engaged the starter. After 20 seconds or so, you hear a little pop and a gurgling sound when the fuel ignites. Let it burn for a few seconds, then turn it the rest of the way and engage the starter while it's burning.
