Oliver 77 with mounted Oliver picker /auction

I was surfing Big iron auctions and saw an Oliver 77 gas with an Oliver 2 row mounted picked listed. Page 133. was at 265.00 bucks and sells on 2/30/20. Fence row condition, but from Ne where they dont rust bad. Will not see many like this at a tractor show. shame if it goes to scrap. Al

There was an Oliver 74H picker mounted on a very straight Farmall M several weeks back on Craigslist Waterloo, IA. The price was 1,500 dollars for both so a person could have sold off the M and got the picker for very little money. Just within the last ten days there was an IH 234 picker in SE PA for 600 dollars. The ad was not up for very long. Still a market for mounted pickers. All the good stuff at a decent price is usually several hundred miles west of me. Some day...........

The number 4 Oliver picker that was on my 88 when I bought it was pretty well worn. Dad and my cousin and I were at the sale in Archbold two years later and there was a real sharp one. Pete said you should be able to buy that thing for a song. I pretty much did, got it for $30. I used that one right up until I went to narrow rows.
