White 2-60 High Crop

This little guy followed me home yesterday, same machine as an Oliver 1365. I imagine there are others, but this is the first 2wd high crop White 2-60 that I have ever come across. It was supposedly purchased new buy the previous owner, and does not appear to have spent much of its life in the barn.

Nice find. A lot of work ahead of you though. Did they just rotate the final drives a little bit then?

Final drives are rotated one bolt, 15.5-38 rear tires with the 8 bolt to 9 bolt hub converters. Front spindles are extra long with 7.50-18 front tires. Fenders have a much larger spacer under them than the normal one, but other than those things I don't really see any other differences. I'm changing the bad rear tire this afternoon if you are looking for something to do?

Rear axle gearboxes look like the Agri-Power/Fiat 7000 I have with the seven speed transmission. The 8000 and 9000 models I have both are nine speed models, and their
larger axle gearboxes are angled slightly too.

Bought it from a retired cane farmer in LA. Came with a high crop White 2-105 as well that he bought new in 1980. The 2-105 is in pretty rough shape compared to this thing, but is complete. 40 years of salty Louisiana swamp work has really taken its toll on these two.
