I am in the process of putting different tires on my 1900 and would like to know what paint to paint the rims. I bought this 1900 2 years ago and it has a Farm Fleet restoration. The wheels and grill are a flat white. When I worked at Donaldsons in the middle 70's I was the painter and we painted some air cleaners a color called clover white--it had a greenish tint to it. I looked on this site for Oliver white and found none. Any help will be appreciated--Thanks---Tee

Going from 18.4s to 23.1 tires--widened the rim 5 inches--16" to 21"

Forgot-Is the inside of the wheel supposed to be green?

Yes sir clover white. Has the greenish tint. Used to be available from Agco, and may still be. Could be mixed at a paint supplier if you had a sample or possibly the code. I’m sure someone here can help with that !

We have an automotive parts store that can computer match any color if you have a sample. Needs to be a good sample. We often used the inside of a glove box door. Not faded by the sun streaming through the windows. I know what you are thinking...Where the h... am I going to get a accurate sample. Maybe someone on this site can help.

Agco has clover white. I friend has a repair shop and sells A&I parts and he can get clover white from Van Sickle paints.

I looked at this site for pictures but they almost never show the inside of the rear wheels--I saw a couple of row crops and they were white--one restored standard tread had green inside wheels?

Yes it is Clover white or heather green. Napa can get you a shade that is really close in my opinion to the white used on the 50/55 series tractor's. I don't care for it as much as the white we use which is to bright I know but it really makes them look good. It is a Dupont imron paint, I can get you the paint code later if your interested. And wheels are white inside and out.

Here is a picture of my brother's 1950 and my 880. Mine is done in Meadow Green and Clover White from Agco. Power adjust rims are argent. All others are white rims and white centers. I see some hubs green and some white. ADB
