I was perusing my latest issue of the Western Antique Iron Trader and noticed an ad for an Oliver 880 and two 88s in Eugene. Are those your ads by chance?

No they're not mine. Are you looking at them? If not I maybe.

By all means go ahead. There's no price on the 880 and I like the mix of old and new. I'm too far away unless they were free.

Thank you. I went ahead and subscribed. I ask for November issue. Is that where you saw them?

Just signed up for the digital version of the Western Antique Iron Trader here in Canada. I live in BC, so it's sort of local for me. Did not know it existed.

I didnt either. Looks like it could be trouble. 😉

Wlelcome to the club. It's always been more geared towards gas engine guys, but seems there's more tractors and parts as of late.

Yes, it's my understanding ads in bold are new for that month. I think it explains it somewhere in the issue. I know those oliver ads are new because they weren't in the October issue.

Gotta love guys who advertise equipment without a price. They most always want way more than the equipment is
worth and they know it. I refuse to answer ads with no price.

I've found that to be true, but I've found some good deals as well. Some guys just want to people to be serious before they call and some get weirdly attached to their stuff. Who knows...

This guys prices are kinda high but not completely out of line plus he says offer. Appears to have many tractors . I hope to atleast visit with him.

His 880 wide front diesel with 3 point he is asking 2850 I believe. Not a bad price if it's ready to go to work. My price range is not quite that high at this time. Besides I have lost interest in mine mostly.

No, well I have several different projects. Kind of loosing interest in everything but I still want more tractors. I just not very enthusiastic right now.

I think buying runners is the way to go. The problem is I have somewhere around a dozen Oliver's so it's kind of a pain keeping them all running. A couple are tore apart and I'm having trouble getting interested in putting them together.
