I have an old 1855 that I like to have the grandkids use to move bales with the 3 point. The tractor shifts so easy. The steering is fine and when we use a regular 3
point bale fork no problems. But I have one 3 point bale fork that lifts the bale 6 feet high and has a cylinder on the end so I can dump a bale into a feeder. Lately the
3 point 6 foot bale feeder will not go all the way up, but once in a while it will. Today I put a regular 3 point bale fork on the 1855 and I noticed all 4 bolts that
attach the third 3 point arm to the tractor bracket were loose. Is this bracket just a bracket or does it have another function also. short of taking on bale fork off,
putting the one on and trying it could this be my problem and tightening those 4 bolts solve the problem?
